Obituary of Allene Williamson

Allene Williamson, 85, of the Laurel Branch community went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, September 22, 2021.
A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Grady and Lillian Howard Payne and wife of the late Ralph Williamson.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Ernest, Harold and Joe Payne and her son-in-law, Edgar Kirkland.
Allene is survived by her children, Diana Williamson Kirkland and Bob Williamson; grandchildren, Brian, Bradley and Brady Kirkland, Meagan, Preston, Jacob and Adam Williamson; many great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Hyde; brother, Clifford Payne; and many special friends.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 pm Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. David Watkins will officiate with burial in the Laurel Branch Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 – 4:30 pm Monday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank Darlene Waldroup for her care of Allene.
