Gayle Massey, 72, of Whittier passed away Thursday December 31, 2020.
A native of Lancaster, SC, she was the daughter of the late James Hunter and Mildred Blue (Harvey).
She was preceded in death by her children, Vickie Carpenter and Eugene Massey; sister, Becky Ledford.
Gayle is survived by her husband, Alvin Massey; daughter Rebecca Massey; son, James Massey; brother, Gary Hunter (Joyce); brother-in-law, Booge Massey; sister-in-law, Gene Garner; grandchildren, Darrell Brandt, Brandon Carpenter, Amanda Carpenter; Austin Pyles, Eugene Pyles, Samuel Rose, Sabrina Rose, Hannah Massey; 10 great grandchildren and special friends, Jess Bazemore and Christopher Pratt.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.
