Obituary of Rebecca Toineeta

Rebecca Marlene Toineeta, 62, of Cherokee passed away on October 27, 2020. She was born in Swain County on July 25, 1958 to the late Tom Queen and Julie Sherrill. Rebecca loved to spend time with family, having fun and laughing. In addition she loved being in the outdoors and liked to fish.
Rebecca is survived by her husband, James Toineeta. In addition, she is survived by one daughter, Roberta Dianne Cloer (Jonathan); two grandchildren, Sesalee Woodard and Doug Woodard; four great grandchildren, Kaylee Rickman, Cade Ball, Brennley Ball, and Mathew Woodard as well as several sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and special family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by several special aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 12:00pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Reverend Ben Reed will officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12:00pm one hour prior to the service. Crisp Funeral is assisting the Toineeta family with arrangements.
