Obituary of Michael Lequire

Michael LeQuire, 62, of Bryson City passed away on October 25, 2020. Mr. LeQuire was born on December 25, 1957, in Swain County to the late Arvil and Shirley LeQuire. Michael spent his career as an over the road trucker. He loved antiques and western movies and shows. Most of all, he loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife, Theresa LeQuire. In addition, he is survived by three daughters, Aaron Gail LeQuire (Gary) of Georgia, Angel Marie Buddy (Donald) of Tennessee, and Heather Lee Ann Drinkard of Alabama; five sons, Scott Cody (Vida) of Bryson City, Michael Lawerence LeQuire (Toria), Dustin James LeQuire, Josh Lequire, and Michael LeQuire (Hannah) all of Wisconsin; several grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell LeQuire (Stormie) and Brandon LeQuire (Gianna) and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three brothers, Tony, Gary, and Johnny LeQuire. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2020, at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Reverends Doc and David Luker will officiate. Burial will follow a Lauada Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael LeQuire, Scott Cody, Josh LeQuire, Michael L. LeQuire, Dustin LeQuire, and Tim Hensley. The family will receive friends from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, one hour prior to the service. Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the LeQuire family with arrangements.
