Georgia Lee Hampton Sutton, 90, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord and her family on Saturday September 12, 2020. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late James Doyle and Mellie Mae Bates Hampton. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Bergin Sutton; one son, Darryl Sutton, and two brothers, Harley Hampton and Paul Hampton.
She is survived by one brother, William J. Hampton of Augusta, GA; one granddaughter, Jena Sutton of Bryson City, and three nephews Roger Wiggins of Bryson City, Eugene Hampton of Hendersonville, NC, and Ronald Hampton of Indiana.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Tellico Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
