Obituary of Elliott Francis French

Elliott (Seymour) French, 51, of the Yellowhill community went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 5, 2020. A native of Cherokee, he was the son of Marilyn Swimmer of Cherokee and the late Elliott (Dump) French. He was a member of Straight Fork Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jamison (Bear) French; niece, Jillian Swimmer; grandmother, Amanda Swimmer; Father-in-Law, Isaac Saunooke and several Aunts and Uncles.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 12 years, Stephanie French; children, Mark and Laura Crowe, Isaac and Cynthia (Mouse) Saunooke, Cain and Elizabeth Oocumma; grandchildren, Prya Sneed Oocumma and Jovane Saunooke; brothers, George and Randy French; and sister, Melvena Swimmer.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Sequoyah Cemetery. Rev. James (Bo) Parris will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Randy French, Isaac Saunooke, Mark Crowe, Randy Saunooke, Jody Saunooke and Skyler Bottchenbaugh.
