Obituary of Austin Cody Fuller

Austin Fuller “Cody” 22 of the Birdtown community was tragically taken from us by a gunshot wound on August 12, 2020. Cody was one of a kind, he knew no stranger and was loved by many. Cody was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He is going to be missed dearly.
He is survived by his son Mitchell; his mom Christy (Darrell); dad Don “Bobcat”; brothers Dylan (Heather) and Daniel. His granny Nita (Lester) his uncle John (Holly) uncle Josh (Sanna) uncle Benji and his uncle Ben Fuller (Mel); aunt Jackie Giddeons; his great grandparents Larry and Melba; lots of cousins and so many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother from another mother Zack “Lil Timmy” Carter and Uncle Bo Fuller.
Services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Sunrise House of Worship in Dillsboro.
The family will sit with Cody through the night starting at 7:00 pm Sunday at the church.
There will not be a graveside service to follow. A celebration of his life is planned for a later date.
Pallbearers were Cody’s closest and dearest friends: Brett Owle, Spud Owle, Jay Kirkland, Robbie Cunningham, Dewaine Winchester and Joe Maney.
The family will gather at the fellowship hall after the service where the members of the church will feed the family and friends.
