Ruth's family, I became friends with Ruth when visiting residents at MVM. She told me that she didn't get to see family much because they lived "off" and that she missed them. She shared her faith in Christ with me and having been saved in the early years. We knew that made us sisters: sisters-in- Christ. And that cemented our friendship. She was a sweet, soft-spoken person who faced her hardships with strength and beauty. I count it a privilege to have known her.
