Bryson City Dateline William James (W.J.) Freeman, 68, of the Lauada Community passed away Friday, November 20, 2009 at his residence. He was a US Army Veteran. He is survived by one sister, Vanoye Douthit of Bryson City; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Matt Shuler and Max Cochran will officiate with burial in Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
