Met Tyler in Hickory many years ago, lost contact with him and happened upon his obituary while searching for something else. Always wondered if he still worked at Biltmore and still lived in that neat little apartment he had in downtown Asheville. I remember him telling me how moving to Asheville was a dream for him. He bought a brand new Ford Fiesta and came to Hickory just to take me for a ride in it, stuff kept falling out of the glove compartment. He said he wasn't paying extra for the glove box door. So sad to read of his passing, rest easy Tyler.

Roseanna and family,
My heartfelt condolences are going out to you all. Tyler was my classmate from Whittier Elementary thru high school. I was so sad to see he had passed away. I always considered him my friend even though I had not seen him in quite some time. I can remember his quick wit and sense of humor. He was always a kind and considerate person and I know he will live on through your memories. Prayers for you all.

Tyler came to me at the gym and asked me if one of the physical therapists who is pretty muscular was a personal trainer and if so could get him to be as built as him. I told him that he wasn’t a trainer but I was and I was more than capable of doing my best to get him stronger and more flexible. Tyler came to me every Wednesday for months and our sessions were never dull. He Even brought me the original jane Fonda album With her exercises in the Cover because it reminded him of me. He was one of my favorite clients because of his humor and determination and gratitude for what he was getting from his sessions. He was one of a kind and I will truly miss him.

Roseanna (Never could call you Rosey) It has been many years now since Tyler was in one of my classes. When I saw Tyler's name, I first felt sadness; then I read the memorial,
and it reminded me of that young man of years past and I smiled for the person he had been and for the life he had lived. Please know I am thinking of all of you who loved Tyler, hoping that through your tears, good memories will bring smiles to your faces. God Bless

Rosie, I am so sorry for your loss. The obituary so well describes Tyler and then some. I was his hairdresser and neighbor for a lot of years. Just remember all the sweet memories you have made through the years. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and the weeks ahead. Love you, Willa Jean
