Beuna Parton Winchester, 90, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord after a brief illness on Friday January 17, 2020. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Sarah Freeman Parton, and wife of the late Ben Winchester. She was the last surviving child of Manuel and Sarah Parton.
She is survived by four children, Brenda Arvey and husband Joe of Lexington, NC, Beverly Collins and husband Paul of Bryson City, B.H. Winchester of Bryson City, and Benita Coffey and husband Glenn of Jenkinsburg, GA; grandchildren, Darlena, Paul, Boyd, Dustin, Benji, Mikayla, Lori, and Stacy; several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Benji Collins and Rev. Shane Silvers will officiate with burial at Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at the Funeral Home.
