Loretta Margaret Greene Lewis, 83, of Whittier went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 18, 2019. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Arvil and Jane Parton Greene. She was a member of Wilmot Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mike Harold Jones; daughter, Sheila Loretta Hones; grandsons, Charles, Corey and Jamey Jones; and her sister, Loumae Britt.
Loretta is survived by one daughter, Roberta Jones Davis; one son, Verlon Ricky Jones; grandchildren, Michael, Jonathan, Timmy, Monica, and Mary Jones, Lucas and Christopher Dodd, and Heather Waldroup; great grandchildren, Aiden Jones, McKayla and Landon Waldroup, Jason Jones; brother, Lester Greene; and two sisters, Linda Lloyd and Lavine Callicott.
Graveside services will be held at 2:15 pm Friday at Bumgarner Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Stillwell officiating.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pom Friday at Crisp Funeral Home.
