Wayne Russell McGaha (Hoss), 54, of the Alarka Community passed away Friday, August 17th, 2012 at his residence. A native of Swain County, he was the son of Norma McGaha of Bryson City, and the late Charles McGaha. He was a member of Mt. Vernon Freewill Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved his dogs Maggie and Ebony. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 23 years Jackie McGaha; one daughter Mandy Anthony and husband Brian of Asheville, NC; one granddaughter Peyton Anthony of Asheville, NC; three brothers Charles Lee (Chea) McGaha and wife Rachel of Bryson City, Ronnie McGaha and wife Sue of Franklin, NC, and Gary McGaha and wife Brenda of Anderson, SC; 11 nieces and nephews; Lots of Loved Ones, and a dear and very special friend Donnie Winchester. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday at Mt. Vernon Freewill Baptist Church. Revs. Tim Barker, Jeff Waldroup, and Jimmy Lambert will officiate with burial at Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until finished Tuesday at the Church. Pallbearers will be Randy Barker, Jeremy Stephenson, Mike (Hippie) Gregory, K.L. (Beefy) Rogers, Jimmy Wilson, and Austin Greene. An online register is available at www.crispfuneralhome.org
