Billy Ross Ensley, 72, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord, Thursday October 17, 2019. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Ross Odell and Gladys Ball Ensley.

 

He is survived by his companion, Linda Self of Franklin; two sons, Johnny Ensley and wife Dena of Bryson City and William W. Ensley of Bryson City; one daughter, Hailey Maria Carter of Jackson County, NC; two grandchildren, Ross Lee Ensley, and Brantley William Ross Ensley both of Bryson City, and one sister, Irene Thomas of Bryson City.

 

A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Wednesday October 23, 2019 at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gerald McGaha will officiate.

 

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday October 23, 2019 at the Funeral Home.
