Obituary of Eric Lee Collins

Eric Lee Collins, 37, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 15, 2019.   He was born on November 15, 1981 to the late Clifford Collins and to Ruth Collins, who survives him.  Eric was a loving and humble soul.  While he had struggled with his health most of his life he did not let that limit him in attitude and care he demonstrated to his family and friends.  He loved sports cars, especially, Lamborghinis.  He also had a love of history, with Roman history being his favorite. 

In addition to his mother he is survived by his soulmate of five years, Anna Woodring, and their daughter April, who made his lifelong dream of having a family come true.  Eric is also survived by two brothers, Chris Collins and Ricky Foy.  He is also survived by his best friend, Mike Monteagodo.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 3:00pm in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home.  Reverend P.D. Hampton will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Laurel Branch Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Ricky Foy, Mike Monteagodo, Ryan McCracken, Brandon Carter, Chris Collins, and Shane Rhinehart.  The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until 3:00 pm prior to the service.  Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the Collins family with arrangements.
