Obituary of Retta Faye Howard
Retta Faye Howard, 72, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord, unexpectedly, Thursday October 10, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Tinker and Ethel Mae Howard. She was preceded in death by five brothers, Dewayne, Sam, Wendell, Lloyd, and Donald Howard; four sisters, Ellen Phillips, Pearl Owenby, Tinker Sharon Howard, and Linda Sue Howard.
She is survived by her twin sister, Reva Edwards; three children, Marcia, Tonya, and Lucas Chad Pope; seven grandkids, and five great grandchildren and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Monday at Crisp Funeral Home with services to follow at 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Alec Phillips and Bryan Johnson will officiate with burial in the Round Hill Cemetery.
