Willa Belle Clampitt Ammons passed away at Bryson City Assisted Living on September 1, 2019.
She was the daughter of W. H. and N. Belle Brendle Clampitt of Swain County, and wife of the late Odell Ammons, who passed away in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her son Steve, her brother Samuel H Clampitt, and several half-brothers and -sisters.
She is survived by her son Ron (Carol) Ammons of Greenville SC; two grandsons, Brandon (Becky) Ammons, and Ryan Ammons; and her great-grandson Griffin.
She is also survived by two sisters, Eva Nell Breedlove and Myrtle Cloer.
A graduate of Swain High, she was an avid reader. She loved her dog Lizzie very much.
