My heart aches knowing you had to leave so soon. I find comfort in knowing you are in heaven for your devotion to God was a strong one. You were a good friend and always a sister. I will miss you forever. The world isn't going to be the same with your smile gone from us but I carry with me the memories we made over the years and they were as many as the stars above. God Speed on your new journey..till our paths meet again...
To the family: I pray God gives you comfort during this very hard time. My love goes out to each one of you. She loved all of you very much and was so proud of all of you.

I am saddened by learning that Charlene has passed. It has only been a couple weeks since we spoke and I was always glad to chat with her. We have been acquainted since we were in school. She was always good to me and I will miss her kind spirit. I know her love for her family was strong beyond words. Bless all of you, please know you are in my prayers.

I am beyond words. I know that you are with our Father in Heaven. May He wrap His loving arms around your family and friends. We met in 1972, when I came to Cherokee, for one of many vacations. Silly teenagers, we shared so many stories and dreams. We were pen pals and on one of the visits, we even became “blood “ sisters. ( pricking our fingers and holding them together while we mad a pact!). Charlene, you will be forever in my heart, dear friend. Tell my mom and dad hi! They will introduce you to my daughter, Ashley.. until then Rest In Peace ....
