Obituary of Bobbie Jones
Gwendolyn (Bobbie) Jones, 90, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, May 4, 2019. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Bertha Lindsey Cochran.
She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Jones and her son Jake Jones.
She was a member of Patterson Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by three children, Frank Jones and wife Rita, Myrtle Birchfield and husband Zeke, and Rachael Jones; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a sister Marie Nations.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Frady will officiate with burial in the Brendle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
Family will be at the home of Frank and Rita Monday Evening to receive friends.
