Jenny Nabors Hane

Bryson City, NC

 

Jenny Nabors Hane, 59, wife of Richard Hane, passed away Sunday March 10, 2019 at her home in Bryson City, NC.

 

Born in Easley, SC, she was a daughter of the late Betty Jo Prince Holcombe and step father, J.T. Holcombe.

 

Jenny worked for The Department of Social Services before moving to Bryson City. Because of her endearing personality, she immediately became a beloved soul while working for Mountain Perks in Bryson City.

 

Surviving are a daughter, Sommer Young (Jose’) of Virginia; a grandson whom she adored, Kaden; and sisters, Joyce Bibb (David) and Dedee McKnight (Ralph).

 

In addition to her mother and step father, she was predeceased by her father, John D. Nabors; and a brother, Mike Nabors.

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 from 1:00 pm until 1:45 PM with a memorial service to celebrate Jenny’s life at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, 305 W. Main Street, Easley, SC 29640.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Paws Animal Shelter, 57 Lemons Branch Rd., Bryson City, NC 28713.

 

The family will be at their respective homes.
