Obituary of PEGGY ONEAL SHULER

Peggy Oneal Shuler, 88, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday February 19, 2019. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Lawson Emory Shuler and Hyacinth Mildred Huffstetler Shuler. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by three sisters, Aleithia “Lib” Roseman, Moeina Welch, and Wanda Lee Shuler, and two brothers, Wayne Eustes Shuler and Talmadge Eugene Shuler.

 

She is survived by one sister, Blondina Shuler of Bryson City; four brothers, L.D. Shuler and wife Betty of Bryson City, Wade Ausby Shuler of Mt. Holly, Vaughn Shuler and wife Sheila of Bryson City, and Tommy Shuler and wife Nancy of Bryson City; 15 nieces and nephews, and 35 great nieces and nephews.

 

Peggy was a gardener, and a Homemaker. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Bryson City, NC, and she was a mother to all of the family.

 

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday February 22, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church. Revs. Matt Shuler and Bryan Schuler will officiate with burial at Swain Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM Until 8:00 PM Thursday February 21, 2019 at Victory Baptist Church.
