Obituary of Bruce Jackson Sheehan

Whittier Dateline: Bruce Jackson (Jack) Sheehan, 70, of the Shoal Creek Community, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, July 30th, 2012 at his residence. A native of Haywood County, he had lived in Jackson County most of his life. He was the son of the late James Henry and Delphia Conard Sheehan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. He also was preceded in death by one brother James Woodrow Sheehan. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Frankie Nations Sheehan; two daughters, Evelyn Sheehan Allen and husband Donald of Cherokee, and Charlotte Sheehan Tilley and husband Derek of Hayesville; one son James Henry Sheehan of the home; two step-children, Nina Metcalf of Hertford, NC, and Harry Neil Cooper and wife Linda of Whittier; four sisters, Mary Grant of Ohio, Janie Coppola of NY, Betty Kinsman of Whittier, and Juanita George of Cherokee; one brother, Joe Sheehan of NJ; six grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 PM Friday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery.
