Obituary of Jeremiah David Martin

Jeremiah David Martin, Sr. 52, of the Franklin Grove Community passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in a Buncombe County Hospital. A native of Georgia, he had been a resident of Swain County for most of his life. He was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Jeremiah David Martin, Jr. of Asheville; two step sons, Christopher Jason Woodard of Florida, Raymond Bard of Maury, NC; ex-wife, Connie Martin of Forest City, NC; one brother, Jesse Martin of Bryson City; one niece, Jessica martin of Bryson City; and mother-in-law, Christabel Hall of Bryson City. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012 in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Max Cochran will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
