Aileen Allen Ledford, 81, of the Johnson Branch Community went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 11, 2012 in a Jackson County health Care Facility. A native of Swain County she was the daughter of the late Joe Vick and Sophie McHan Allen and wife of the late Curtis Ledford. She was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving Mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by one son Ralph, Jr.
She is survived by two sons, Douglas E. DeHart and wife Donna of Bryson City, and Victor Gary DeHart of Bryson City; five grandchildren, Victor DeHart, Robyne DeHart, Jessica Newman, Byron DeHart, and Chelsea DeHart; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Friday at Cold Springs Baptist Church. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial in Sawmill Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 3:00 PM Friday at the Church.
