Obituary of Hattie Godfrey Lindsay

Bryson City Dateline: Hattie Sneed Godfrey Lindsay, 91, formerly of School House Hill, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 1st, 2012 in Gainesville, GA. She was a native of Swain County, and daughter of the late Henry David and Stella Barker Sneed. She was one of the former owners of Sneeds Restaurant. She was former Alder Woman for the Town of Bryson City and member of the Bryson City United Methodist Church. She is survived by three daughters; Vicki Griffin and husband David of Gainesville, GA, Terry Ramey and husband H.J. of Cedar Shoals, Ala, and Joi Page and husband Ronnie of Clayton, GA, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Royeese Stowe will officiate with burial in the Bryson City Cemetery.
