Betty Martin, went to be with the Lord on January 6, 2019 at 4:50 PM. She was born in Belmont, NC and has lived in Bryson City for the last 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Paulette Davis, both of Bryson City, NC, and her son J.C. Griffin.
She left behind her brother Charles Davis and wife Sylvia and her sister, Patsy Holland and husband Homer, five children, sons, Charles Weeks and wife Michelle, Paul Francis and wife Marilyn, Jack Griffin, and Henry Griffin and wife Kimberly, and her daughter, Paulette Familo and husband Billy. She had 12 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. As she always said "Angels all around you".
Services will be held Thursday January 10th, at 1:00 PM at Ridge Crest Baptist Church 206 Ridgecrest Baptist Church Rd. Franklin, NC 28734. Revs. Guy Duvall and Tommy Faults will officiate.
