Obituary of Merle Lossiah

Merle Crowe Lossiah, 82, of the Big Y community went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 4, 2019. A native of Cherokee she was the daughter of the late Albert and Regina Welch Crowe and wife of the late Eli Lossiah. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gene Crowe, Gilbert Crowe and Desmond Crowe; and her nephew, Jason Crowe.
She is survived by one daughter, Squinnie of Cherokee; twin sister, Marie Sequoyah and sisters Mary Griffin, Charlotte George all of Cherokee; special nephews, Bunsey, Danny, Aaron, Eli, A.J., Dez, Gabe, Fabian; and one niece, Brooke.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Old Antioch Baptist Church. Revs. Ben Reed and James (Bo) Parris will officiate and Rev. Denny Crowe will assist. Burial will be in the Crowe Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friend from 5 to 11 pm Sunday at the church.
Pallbearers will be family.
