Obituary of Bonnie Vee Evans

Bonnie Vee Evans, 67, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday November 14, 2018. A native of Halifax County and longtime resident of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Paul Evans Jr. and Ruby Blowe Evans.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Jeff Gasaway; three daughters, Margaret Holt of Raleigh, NC, Susan Caldwell (Ben) of Clyde, NC and Lynn Holt (Oscar) of Sterling, VA; grandchildren, Matthew, Elijah, Edward, and Baby Girl Cruz; and grand pups, Jaxx and Moose.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Marty Pressley will officiate.
The family will receive friends form 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Monday at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bryson City Fire Department at PO Box 726, Bryson City, NC 28713.
