Obituary of Charles Raymond Shuler

Charles (Cubby) Shuler of the Deep Creek Community passed away at home on October 16, 2018. The son of the late Roy and Bonnie Shuler he was preceded in death by one brother, John (Johnny) Shuler. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Shuler; one daughter, Sarah Miller; one son, William and wife Latresa and one granddaughter, Autum Miller. He graduated Swain High Class of 1963 and graduated A-B Tech with a Business Degree. He was in the Army National Guard, owned Shuler Furniture with his brother but most of all, his love was farming and spending time with his kids. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Deep Creek Baptist Church. Revs. Earl Holden, Mike Cogdill and Tom Harris will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the church. Pallbearers will be Lee Boston, Mark Hyatt, McKinnley Jenkins, Salvador Moreno, Barry Downs, Jackie Downs, J.D. Collier and Robert Coggins. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Brown.
