Obituary of Dallas Hilton Spivey

Dallas Hilton Spivey (Pal) 81, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 8, 2018. A native of Florida and longtime resident of Bryson City, he was the son of the late Homer Washington and Agnes Spivey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald Spivey and Daniel Spivey.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, B. Joyce Spivey; one daughter, Joy Platt of Whittier; one son, Dale Spivey of Bryson City; three grandchildren, Amber and Darrell Platt and Elyssia Aguilar; five great grandchildren, Emma, Briana, Jayden, Tyler, Jace, Jayana; two brothers, Dolan and Pee Wee; one sister, Darlene; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be in Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
