Obituary of Gerald Manley Shook

Gerald Manley Shook, SR. went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, July 31st at his birth home. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 50 years, Carolyn Ann Flowers Shook, along with 4 brothers, and 5 sisters.
Surviving are 3 children, Gerald Manley Shook Jr. (Cheryl) of Bryson City, Paula LeGrow and husband Gordon of Waynesville, NC, and Thomas Shook and wife Dorinda of Bryson City. He had 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, Kaelob, Gabbi, Kierra and Bekah; 2 great grandchildren, Mijo and Zadita.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 4th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral will be at 12:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home with the burial following the service at Arlington Cemetery.
