Obituary of Barbara Ellen Wiggins

On Friday, July 27, God reached down his loving hand and carried his faithful servant, Barbara Ellen Cloer Wiggins to Heaven on wings of love. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Buster Wiggins; parents, Thurman and Bertha Seay Cloer; brother, Junior "Moe" Cloer; sister, Kathleen Woods. Surviving are her children; Rachel Wiggins, Teresa (Tim) Welch, Johnny (Pam) and Scott Wiggins all of Bryson City; Brothers, Bud (Carolyn), Roger (Cathy), Ray (JoAnn), Mike (Wanda) Cloer all of Bryson City; sisters, Elsie Greene, Donna (Ralph) Woodard, Josephine (Harley) Southards, Nina (Homer) Fiskaux of Sylva, Carolyn (Mike) Tackett, Gertie (Michael) Southards, Sandra (Dennis) Lambert all of Bryson City; grandchildren whom she loved dearly; Allen, Terrence, Josie, Candy, Dylan, Taryn, Wesley, Corey, Kari, Lil' Rachael, Devon, Saraya, Alexis; Ten Great-grandchildren, George, Kathourynne, Colt, Tate, Justus, Barrett, Luna, Atlas, Madi, Kobe and numerous friends and neighbors. Services will be 2:00 PM Monday at East Alarka Baptist Church of which she has been a faithfull member for over 60 years. The Revs. Jeff Waldroup, Lowell York and Tim Reeves will officiate with burial in the Wiggins Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Sunday at the Church. A very special thank you to all family and friends who showed love and concern; to a very special friend, Keith Daws whom she loved so very much; to her grandson, Allen Cochran and wife, Priscilla, who gave her loving care in her last days; to Christy Watkins from Hospice Care, who helped her sickness and passing to be much easier for us.
