Evelyn (Pat) Sitton Biggs, 80, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 2, 2018. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Odis and Edna Brown Sitton. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Edith Camby, Harold Sitton, Tom Sitton and Kenneth Sitton.
Pat was a devoted mother, sister and strong democrat. She was a very kind person and worked at the Tee Pee Restaurant in Cherokee for 42 years.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Maurice Biggs; children, Tommy Cooper and wife Betsy of Candler, Debbie Biggs and husband Skip Allen of Andrews, Kepp Biggs and wife Angela of Bryson City, Megan Biggs (Pedab Woodard) of Bryson City, Casie Biggs (Myra Cochran) of Bryson City; grandchildren, Andrew Cooper and wife Kennia, Scott Sneed, Kade Biggs, Kinley Biggs; great grandchildren Julian and Sofia Cooper; and her siblings, Cecil Sitton and wife Rita of Greensboro and Carolyn Rowland and husband John of Asheville.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Burial will be at Swain Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm Friday at the funeral home.
