David Alan Lowe, 67, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, May 2, 2018. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Hasteon and Ruth Amburn Lowe. He graduated from Swain County High School in 1968. He was also a graduate of the Auto Mechanics program at Southwestern Community College. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. David is survived by two sons, Jeff Lowe and Brian Lowe and wife Mariah both of Bryson City; a twin sister, Linda Crisp and husband David of Almond, NC; seven grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Auburn, Morgan, Trey, Hannah, and Isabel; three great grandsons, August, Lawson, and Ridge; an aunt, Willa Lowe of Bryson City; one uncle, Ralph Amburn of Detroit, MI , and one nephew, Chad Crisp of Almond, NC. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
