Rosemarie Kirkland Harris, 56, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Friday April 20, 2018. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Kirkland and Dolly Dover Kirkland. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Shorty James Kirkland and General David Kirkland.
She is survived by her husband, George Harris; three sons, David, James, and John Green and wife Bonnie all originally from Bryson City; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; three sisters, Mary Kirkland of Wilmont, Donna Hardison of Whittier, and Lisa Lowery of Bryson City; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 6:00 PM Tuesday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
