Yvonne Nations Ammons, 66, of Conley Springs, NC went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 2:05 pm. A longtime resident of Conley Springs, NC, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Clyde and Bertha Cochran Nations. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Rev. Clyde Nations, Jr., Hubert Nations; and sister, Geraldine Gregory. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Edwin Ammons; one daughter, Missy Ammons Brown and husband Samuel Wesley of Morganton, NC; one son, Dusty Lee Ammons and wife Sarah of Morganton, NC; two grandchildren, Sage Riley Brown, River Silas Brown both of Morganton, NC; brothers, Shirley McGaha of Murphy, Max Nations of Conley Springs, NC and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:07 pm Thursday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Max Cochran will officiate with burial in the Grave Gap Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 pm to 3:07 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
