Obituary of Betty Lou Bridges

Betty Lou Bridges, 72, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 18, 2018. A native of Iredell County, she was the daughter of the late Wade and Mildred Griffin Roberson.
She was a member of the Whittier Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Leonard (Robey) Bridges; daughter, Ginger Roberson of Bryson City; granddaughter, Emily Harden of Bryson City; sister, Colletta Kennedy and husband Sonny of Pink Hill, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday at Whittier Church of God. Revs. Shane Silvers and Tim White will officiate.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm Saturday at the church.
Crisp Funeral Home is assisting the family.
