Ernest Eugene (Gene) Frady, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, January 2, 2018. A native of Jackson County, he was the son of the late Claude Ellis and Sarah Lee Miller Frady. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Elizabeth Frady and Willa Mae Henry, and four brothers, Ellis Jr. Frady, H.L. Frady, Asbary Frady, and Charles Frady.
Gene was a master at Upholstery, and a craftsman, as well as a lover of anything to do with Christmas.
He is survived by a lifelong friend, Gene Clark; one daughter, Elaine McFalls and husband Larry; three grandchildren, Amber Moss, Darren McFalls and wife Nicole, and Jessica Woods; two great grandchildren, Troy McFalls and Josie McFalls; four brothers, Roy Frady and wife Joanne, Howard Frady and wife Bernice, Johnny Frady and wife Fannie, and Richard Frady and wife Ellen and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Gene's life will be held 1:00 PM Saturday January 13, 2018 at Webster Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Webb will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harris Lifepath Hospice at 81 Medical Park Loop Suite 204, Sylva, NC 28779.
