Darryl "Rambo" Sutton, 57, of Bryson City, NC passed away on December 26, 2017. He was born and raised in Swain County by his parents the late Bergin Sutton and Georgia Lee Sutton of Bryson City. He left behind his mother, Georgia Lee; his wife of 32 years, Sheila Sutton, and his daughter, Jena Sutton.
Darryl was an avid outdoorsman, loving father, friend, and son. He loved being in the mountains hunting, fishing and riding horses and he would have lived on Fontana Lake if he could have. He was a loyal, kind, and loving man. His family and friends meant the world to him, he will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Darryl's life will be held from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2018, at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends following the service from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Saturday January 6, 2018.
In lieu of flowers, Darryl felt very strongly about donations being made to the Double 00 Farm at 131 West Tuskeegee Dr. Robbinsville, NC 28771.
