Donna Stephenson Kirkland, 52, of Bryson City, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, December 17, 2017. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Leila Collins Stephenson. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby, Gary, Burr, Maxwade, and Darlene.
She is survived by one daughter, Tanya Stephenson of Bryson City; one grandson, Boggie Stephenson of Bryson City; two sisters, Joyce Stephenson of Rosman, NC and Tracy Longwith of Bryson City; two brothers, Roger Stephenson and Marvin Stephenson both of Bryson City.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Charles Ray Ball will officiate with burial in Watkins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Funeral Home.
