Obituary of Nora Evelyn Stroud

Nora Evelyn (Nanna) Stroud, 61, of Bryson City went home to be with the Lord Thursday, December 14, 2017. A native of Swain County, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Irene Kirkland Herron.
She is survived by her children, Jeremy Stroud of Fuquay Varina, NC, Krystal Brooks of Bryson City; grandchildren, Page Becker, Haley Taylor, Samantha Brooks, Dakota Stroud and Zachery Brooks; four great grandchildren, Michael Taylor, Kellin Brooks, Hayden Becker and Brody Becker; sisters, Billie, Barbara, Wanda and Connie; and her brothers, Wayne, Kenny, Robert, and Larry.
A celebration of her life will be held at 12:00 pm Saturday at the Bryson City Church of God. Rev. Marty Pressley will officiate.
