Obituary of Paul Edward Gibson

The Lord took Paul Edward Gibson, Jr. 53, born April 21, 1964, home on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was a native of the Alarka Community and preceded in death by his father, grandparents, and lots of aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother, Beatrice Gibson; one brother, Kenneth Gibson and wife Camella of Bryson City; two sisters, Catherine French of Cleveland, TN and Caroline Kirkland of Bryson City; a lot of nieces and nephews and friends.
He was self-employed and worked part time at Lands Creek Cabins and other odd jobs.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday at Mason Branch Cemetery with the Revs. Jim Frady and Doug Ball officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday at Crisp Funeral Home.
