Obituary of Donald Junior Herron

Donald (Don) Junior Herron, 67, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday August 29, 2017. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Thad and Jessie Phillips Herron, and husband of the late Betty Rosealee Cook Herron.
He is survived by one daughter, Janene Hudson and husband Danny of Bryson City; two sons, Joe Herron and wife Denise of Sylva, and Chuck Cochran and wife Jennifer of Sylva; nine grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Arlicia, Angelica, Alston, Colby, Vikie, Brandon, and Cordell; five great grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley McMahan of Bryson City, and Mary Herron of Leicester, NC.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday at Crisp Funeral Home Chapel. Revs. Max Cochran, Jeff Waldroup, and Mike Cogdill will officiate with burial in Brendle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at the Funeral Home.
