Obituary of George Curtis Arneach

George (Crumb) Arneach, Sr., 82, of the Painttown Community went home to be with the Lord, Thursday June 22, 2017. A native of Jackson County he was the son of the late Jerome Bradley and Stella Arneach Bradley. In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by one daughter, Yvonne Arneach.
He was a member of the Cherokee Volunteer Fire Department for 25 years, and was a charter member of The Cherokee Rescue Squad. He was a member of the U.S. Airforce as a Jet Engine Mechanic. He enjoyed attending Bethabara Baptist Church. He retired from the Cherokee Indian Hospital.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Frances O. Arneach; one daughter, Teresa Lovins and husband Steve of Cherokee; one son, George Curtis Arneach Jr. and wife Buffy of Cherokee; three grandchildren, Cassie Bowman, Jefferson Arneach, and Shira Raman; eight great grandchildren, Jamie, Sam, Gabe, Hayleigh, Chloe, Eva, Waylon, and Kylee; five sisters, Mary Standley and husband Jerry, Joyce Bradley, Jackie Raby, Geraldine Thompson, and Kitty Sneed all of Cherokee; two brothers, Whick Bradley and wife Bernadine of Hudson, and Herbert Bradley and wife Agnes of Cherokee, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Sunday at Bethabara Baptist Church. Pastors Richard Pickup and James (Bo) Parris will officiate with burial in Birdtown Cemetery.
Crumb will be taken back to Bethabara Baptist Church 5:00 PM Saturday to await the hour of service.
