Obituary of Erma Morrell

Erma Morrell, 65, of the Buckners Branch Community went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Swain County Hospital. A native of Conn. She had lived in Swain County since 2002. She attended The Grove Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis Hendricks, and Dawn Taylor Baker; two brothers, Bill and Phillip; and one sister, Maggie. She is survived by two daughters, Dawn Walker and husband Jim of Bryson City, Sandra Lee Haney and husband James of Whittier; one son, Albert Morrell of Whittier; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one brother, Louis Hendricks and wife Kathy of Ansonia, Conn.; three sisters, Florence Leach and husband George, Dawn Baker and Judy Plants, June Baker all of Pasadina, MD; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor Jeff Helpman will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
