Mildred Evelene Barker Woodard, 70, of the Alarka Community, went home to be with Jesus,, on Monday, March 20, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family.
She was a loving wife, mother and Nanny to her family. Her joy in life was spending time with those she loved.
Mildred was preceded in death by her mother, Jessie Lee Barker, her father, Troy Lee Barker, her sister, Wanda Jenkins, and three brothers, Winfred, Fred, and Arvil Barker.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Frelin, they were married 52 years, 10 months and 5 days. Her daughters are Freda Jordan (Rob),
Cindy Cochran (Mike), and her son, Bryant Woodard. Also, her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Matthew Cochran, Kyle Cochran, Seth Woodard, Abigail Jordan and Abraham Jordan. In addition, she is survived by two brothers, Ronnie (Opal) and Doyle Barker.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Crisp Funeral Home, with the Memorial Service to follow. Reverend Douglas Ball and Jim Frady will be officiating the service.
