To the family we are sorry for the loss of your father. We will never forget the smell of cherry blend pipe tobacco as we entered the old post office. You always knew Paul had just been in and left. Prayers for strength and grace.

Family,
I am saddened to hear of your loss. I've known Paul for many years, as you know. Not only from high school through my friendship with Mike, but also through the funeral home when my Dad, Paul Hampton, worked there. Please accept my sincere condolences. It has only been the last few years as a Mason that I knew of Paul's membership in Oconee Lodge and his strong support of our fraternity. Please feel free to call on me and other members of our Lodge if there is anything that we can assist you with. Ronnie, Jim, Denise and Mike please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Once again one of my true mentors and friends has "gone home". Words to describe Paul would be "he was a good man". Paul had his heart and soul in the people he helped during their sorrow and sadness. He was dedicated to the citizens of Swain County and was a true asset to our society. He will be greatly missed. Partake of the beauties of Heaven, my good friend.
