Obituary of Elizabeth McKinney Crisp

Elizabeth Jean McKinney Crisp, born June 21, 1933 in Asheville passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012. Her parents were Ernest and Ruth McKinney. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy Ridgon, Louise Waldrot and Eileen Sams. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Virgil (Bud) Crisp; her kids, Tony and wife Dahlia Crisp, Ricky and wife Tina Crisp, and daughter Sharon Lee. Her grandchildren are Karin and husband Michael Green, Mindy and husband Kregg Parton, Ricky and wife Lindsay, Selina Crisp, Carie Huskey, Gerry and wife Laura Ellerbee, Melissa Ellerbee, Her great grandchildren are, Alicia, Samuel, Robert, and Alyla Green, Kayla, Kregg, and Kiana Parton, Lucas, and Nick Crisp, Kelsi, Kaden, Kameron, and Kaleb Huskey, Larry, Briana, Rebecca, and McKenzie Ellerbee. She is also survived by four sisters, Catherine Blankenship, Fay Dalton, Doris Tallent, and Lucille Orr; and one brother, Ray McKinney. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Pastor and grandson, Ricky Crisp will officiate. Burial will be in the Barkers Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
