Obituary of Clinton Henry Green
Bryson City Dateline:
Clinton H. Green, 93, of Bryson City, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 in Mountain View Manor Nursing Facility. A native of Swain County, he was the son of the late Lon Hanley and Cornelia Anthony Green, and husband of the late Ollie Cook Green. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran having served in WWII. He was a member and Deacon of Franklin Grove Baptist Church. He was a retired employee with Singer Manufacturing Company, and Zickgraf Lumber Company.
He is survived by two daughters, Ernestine Dice of Waynesville, and Lois King and husband Henry of Bryson City; one son Boyd Green and wife Patricia of Simpsonville, SC; three grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday in the Chapel of Crisp Funeral Home. Rev. Earl King will officiate with burial in Swain Memorial Park with military graveside services.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2:00 PM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
