Billy Edgar Price, 90, of the Alarka Community went home to be with the Lord Tuesday March 5, 2024. A longtime resident of Swain County he was the son of the late Viola Georgia Stigall. In addition to his mother, he was also preceded in death by his wife of 38 years Estella Collins Price, and a son William E. Howard.
Billy was a retired Master Sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
He is survived by his son Dr. Timothy L. Howard and wife Patricia, and several grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday at Crisp Funeral Home. Revs. Marty Pressley and Tim Howard will officiate with burial held at Lauada Cemetery at a later time.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at the Funeral Home.
